A few steps from the Pilar Coloma promenade in Benicasim, this home, with views of the Desierto de las Palmas, enjoys an enviable exposure that allows it to be enjoyed both during the hot summer months and for weekend getaways.
In its relooking, the cliché of the classic summer apartment has been avoided by using authentic materials and a neutral and timeless color palette. As a result, from this interior design project in Benicasim/Benicàssim, we get a contemporary apartment dedicated to the enjoyment of outdoor spaces.
The dining room is conceived as an intimate area, defined by the hanging lamp and the wall that houses the terracotta piece on wood. In this way, an informal bistro-type space is created, ideal for cozying up in intimacy when the weather does not permit enjoyment of the terrace. The steel tube and polycarbonate furniture provide visual lightness to the ensemble and facilitate visual communication between the spaces.
The entrance and the wall that visually guides us to the living room are reinforced with a gray-blue hue that matches the sideboard. On the right, the courtesy bathroom is clad with ceramic pieces inspired by ancient pottery techniques to create a warm and welcoming space. The spaces are designed in an open style, like a loft, connected to the outside.
The interiors are decorated with timeless pieces in fresh and relaxing colors, a collection of artworks that combines unique pieces acquired from local artists and family pieces.
The bedroom is a cozy alcove that transports us to a remote and imaginary landscape where one can disconnect from the city and reconnect with nature. A refuge to recharge, rest, and meditate. The interior design of the en suite bathroom follows the same mood as the rest of the house, opting for relaxing tones, authentic materials, and textures that hark back to the craftsmanship of our ancestors. In short, the interior design project seeks to create an artisanal, serene, and honest space to enjoy well-deserved moments of rest in the incomparable setting of Benicasim.
